Installing Your 'da Protector...

Note:  This tutorial shows how to install the 'da Rebel Protector on the Canon Rebel (model 300D).  While your protector model may vary in appearance and/or number of borders, the installation steps are essentially the same for all models.

Items required:
  1. 'da Rebel Protector
  2. Adhesive kit (supplied)
  3. A clean micro fiber cloth
  4. A hobby knife (or Xacto knife)

Step 1
Peel the white protective liner from the camera side of the protector and gently clean the protector using a micro fiber cloth.

Note:  If a cleaning fluid is used, make sure that it is approved for acrylic or you may damage the camera side of the protector.  Also, be careful not to use any fluids that may dissolve the silk screened borders.

Step 2

Remove one of the adhesive strips from the white paper liner.

Step 3

  1. Align the end of the adhesive strip with the inside edge of the black silk screened border

  3. Press the adhesive flat against the protector

  4. Trim the adhesive strip just beyond the edge of the protector.

Step 4

Continue applying adhesive strips as described in Step 3 until all four sides are completed.

Note:  Leave a small amount of the adhesive strip overhanging the protector at the left edge.  This will be trimmed in Step 5.
